10.18.10
Shift: 10.17.10, 6pm-12am.
This shift was not as intense as Friday’s, thankfully. It was slow for a Sunday, surprisingly. I made my first $100 simply because Ch.’s drunk, handsy client Gary thought I was cute and Ch. was nice enough to share, and the drunk guy was good enough to continue to tip us both heavily, so it was win-win.
Ch. left hella early because her knees were killing her. I gotta get that girl some Tiger Balm patches. I made stage tips the rest of the night until Brett and Felicia came in for her post-birthday lapdance (Happy birthday girl! I don’t think you read this, but you rock anyway) right before I left, around midnight. I love those clients.
Lo. came in to visit around 11:30, which was pretty cool! We caught up, she’s trying to get her job back because it turns out Mi. got fired (!) which I didn’t know until last night. I don’t know what Mi. could have possibly done to get fired, but seeing as it’s Mi., it must have been pretty bad; I know they like to keep her. I am surprised.
That’s about it. Watched bad Japanese horror at Ch.’s after my shift. Was ADD with clothes, wore Lorenzo, La Cage, SOS, and Baby Firefly. I need to update my locker list badly. I have new bruises on my hip from landing a new trick. Learned two new tricks, still working on getting them to look right.

Play Within a Play
Those of you who have ever studied Shakespeare, performed theatre, or stepped inside a strip club have some idea… It’s all, to a degree, performance—and there are plays within plays. The audience changes, but the actors remain.
Respect and trust are key here. I’m friendly with all of the girls, but I’m just closer with a few, and some I will push more boundaries with than others because through experience I’ve come to trust them as performers.
This is vital concerning “bisexuality” in the workplace. I put this in air quotes because, currently, I am the only all-out lesbian at the House. There are a few authentic bisexuals—Dy. and Jn., for example—but most are just acting the play within the play.

05.28.10
Shift: 05.27.10, 6pm-3am.
Whoakay… Lots to talk about, but my head feels like it’s splitting open, so I forget the memorable ‘did you really just say that?’ from last night, which goes to Greg. In other news, no new bruises… just made the one I had a helluvalot worse.
To start, it was dead slow until about 11pm. I mean dead. Like maybe four gents. So the lot of us just hung out and talked for a few hours. All my favourite girls were on—Ry. and Dy. and Rm. and Mi.—so I didn’t mind. Got closer with Jo., she’s a pretty cool girl.
Debuted my 2 new Porcelain songs and I love them. The verdict on handcuffs: Too soon to tell. First use was messy for stage, but I’m convinced to give it one more shot. Leading Jo. and Mi. around on them was, admittedly, fun.
New girl came in: Lx. I got a girlboner from the second I saw her and the bartenders helped me get her name. We hung out and talked quite a bit; she’s from California—surfer—moved for her boyfriend—boo—but has had relationships with girls—woo!
I want her for Christmas, please.
Got 1 dance from Greg, a gent who I’ve hung with before who is a cigar aficionado; got a private with Mi. and a new guy, very sweet, just got out of a marriage where he found his lady cheating on him. His name’s John Paul but I call him Jean Valjean.
Talked to a few other gents, and one, Marty, actually really and officially propositioned me for sex outside the club. He was so polite about it that it was really bizarre. Kind when I declined, however. Douchebaggery with class, and thusly, not a douchebag.

05.11.10
Shift: 05.10.10, 8pm-4am.
Overall, actually not a bad night in the least. I spent the earlier part of my evening with a regular named Tony who was high off his ass for the majority of the three hours we spent. He was a heavy tipper and fun to talk to, so no stories, but no complaints.
Around 11, babyboi came in, and he was so embarrassed. He’d never been to a strip club before, so he stared at the ground a lot, and didn’t know how to tip the dancers, or what was grounds for judging tipping. I was like, “If you find them hot, you tip them.”
I wound up keeping him there past his ‘bedtime,’ because he wanted to leave around 1:30 but somehow I kept him there till 4. I did 2 lapdances for the evening and came out with a pulled elbow and some knee bruises. I’ll post the war wounds in a bit.
Shocker: NO DOUCHEBAGS TONIGHT! At least none I had the displeasure of speaking with. Spent most of my downtime hanging out with Jn. and Mi., and of course, Lilah. Planning on going to the beach on memorial day weekend with Jn. and looking forward to it.
